Zachary Alford got his start with the B-52's during the Cosmic Thing tour. Stints with Bruce Springsteen and David Bowie followed. Zach was also tabbed to work with top international acts Khaled (North Africa) and Hotie (Japan). In 2000, Zach re-joined the B-52's as Sterling Campbell's replacement (Sterling had been recruited by David Bowie). "Touring with the B's changed my life. It opened my eyes to environmental concerns, more healthy eating habits and politics. Through working with the B's, I rediscovered who I was."
