Heavy-hitting Aussie rock drummer Jackie Barnes was born into the music industry. On the road with his father and Aussie rock legend Jimmy Barnes since birth, it seems he was always meant to be a musician. Apart from being a part of children's group "The Tin Lids" with his three sisters he always had a love for the drums.

After finishing high school Jackie began touring as keyboardist and percussionist with the Jimmy Barnes band before joining as the drummer and backing vocalist in 2005. On top of this, Jackie's groove and projection has seen him record on more than 30 releases, 3 DVDs and tour Europe, Asia, USA, Africa, Australia and New Zealand.

While completing studies at Berklee College of music, Jackie continues to tour and work with many artists, with a promising career ahead.
