Josh Dion was born at the tail end of the disco funk era, with a list of early influences including Ringo Starr, the Grateful Dead, CREAM and Led Zeppelin. Throughout his adolescence, Dion was exposed to a slew of musical genres, including jazz, Dixieland and funk. It was at Jazz School in New Jersey where Dion began to assemble a band and produce his own creative sound. After many years of gigging in every style imaginable and even a brief stint on the wedding band circuit, Josh Dion has finally evolved into an influential singer/drummer/songwriter himself.
