"I've been playing Zildjian cymbals all my career. The quality of sound and the help I get from the Zildjian team is just outstanding"

Michael Lee started playing drums later than most, but has seen no less success! With his first band, The Little Angels, he toured the world four times supporting world famous artists such as ZZ Top, Aerosmith, Bon Jovi, Bryan Adams and Guns "N" Roses.

Soon after, Michael then joined the Cult on the "Ceremony" world tour. After a brief period with Lenny Kravitz he was invited by Robert Plant to be part of the "Fate of Nations" world tour. This tour spawned the supergroup "Page & Plant" and an MTV Unplugged recording and yet another world tour followed. Michael also co-wrote the "Walking into Clarksdale" album and again toured with this project.

Michael has also recorded and toured with "Echo and the Bunnymen" as well as making various TV appearances with Bryan Adams.

In the summer of 2004, Michael toured with the seminal Irish heavy metal band Thin Lizzy featuring origianl members John Sykes and Scott Gorham.

On Novermber 24th, 2008, Michael Lee passed away due to an epileptic seizure. His funeral took place in his hometown of Darlington the following week.
