Ben Maughmer is in his third year as associate director of bands at L.D. Bell high school. His duties include teaching percussion and wind band at the high school and teaching beginner classes on both Bedford, and Hurst junior high campuses. Ben composes and arranges the percussion portion of the L.D. Bell marching band show.

James Ancona is an Assistant Professor of Music at the University of Delaware. He is the Assistant Director of the Blue Hen Marching Band, Director of the Basketball Pep Band and Co-Director of the Symphonic Band. He is currently a consultant with The Cadets Drum and Bugle Corps and the Front Ensemble Arranger for The Madison Scouts.

Mike McIntosh is the Percussion Composer and Arranger for The Cavaliers Drum and Bugle Corps. As a composer, Michael is fascinated with technology and interested in designing sound for commercials, video games and film score.  He is also an active clinician/educator.

Thomas Aungst is the percussion arranger for the Blue Stars Drum and Bugle Corps, as well as the former percussion arranger and caption head for the eight-time DCI World Champion Cadets of Bergen County Drum and Bugle Corps.  He is also the Percussion Director for the Dartmouth Public School System in Dartmouth, Massachusetts.

Hailing from Los Angeles, Street Drum Corps, Bobby Alt, Adam Alt and Frank Zummo, have been called "Soo good" by the New York Post, declared "A rapturous band of misfit drummers" by the Los Angeles Weekly and were featured in Alternative Press Magazine’s  “Most Anticipated Albums of 2011” issue.

Paul Rennick is a Lecturer in the Percussion Department of the University of North Texas, as well as a newly appointed Program Designer and Arranger for the Santa Clara Vanguard Drum and Bugle Corps.

Murray Gusseck is considered an innovator in the world of marching percussion. Murray is currently a member of the Percussion staff for the Arizona Academy Drum and Bugle Corps.

The Carolina Drum Corps Association was founded in 1988 with the desire of its founders to bring a drum corps to the Carolinas. Carolina Crown was founded the following year by that association. The corps won the Drum Corps International Division II World Championship in 1993, and now competes as a Division I unit.

The Cavaliers have won the DCI World Championship seven times since 1992, including five of the past seven years. Scoutmaster Don Warren founded the corps in 1948 as Boy Scout Troop 111 Drum and Bugle Corps, and he remains the only president the corps has ever known. Long known as the “Green Machine”, the corps’ trademarks include having an aggressive approach to color guard work and high-speed, geometric drill routines.
