Pat Petrillo is at the forefront of the drumming community, not only as a dynamic drummer, but as a world class clinician. His deep grooves, stylistic versatility, and uncanny technical abilities, have lead him to gigs with a variety of artists, including R&B legends Gloria Gaynor and Patti LaBelle, to his latest Nu Jazz project, “Groovallegiance”, featuring bassist Gary Grainger, & Guitarist Chieli Minucci. He has also played numerous Broadway shows, including "A Chorus Line", "Grease", and "Footloose", as well as a national tour of "Dreamgirls".

As an educator, Pat is a faculty member at Drummers Collective in NYC, and also conducts master classes at leading drum schools and shops around the world. Pat's top selling DVD/Book from Hudson Music, “Hands, Grooves, & Fills” has gained international acclaim, and his new DVD, "Learn to Read Rhythms, Better!", has become the "must have" instructional DVD of 2010.
