Rich Reed was practically born with sticks in his hands, banging on anything readily available until his serious training began at age ten. His natural talent, versatility, and dedication had his career soaring by his mid twenties. He has received numerous endorsements throughout the years including Zildjian in 1986 and DW Drums in 1990. Rich credits Ricky Lawson, Dennis Chambers and Larry Blackmon for their strong influence upon his success. In 1994, he received a, "Best DRummer of the Year," nomination at the Martin Reggae Music Awards in Chicago, Illinois. Rich's passion for performing is evident each time he gets behind his drums and consistently gives it his all.
