The Living End’s drummer Andy Strachan has been punishing skins with his two band mates all over the globe. He cuts a powerful figure behind the kit, and The Living End have taken their famous high-energy rock show from Darwin to Helsinki.
Since joining the tight ranks of The Living End in 2002, Andy has played on three hugely successful albums; Modern ARTillery (2003), State of Emergency (2006) and White Noise (2008) The latter of which landed the group an ARIA Award for Best Rock Album (not to mention hit single White Noise, which was the #2 most played song on Australian radio).
Touring wise Andy has fired up for an impressive roster of shows including two headline slots on the Big Day Out tour, the US Warped Tour, hit up such Festivals as Summersonic, Leeds,Reading, SxSw, Pukklepop and many more. Most recently the band conquered Australia on their stadium sized 2009 Raise the Alarm Tour.
Andy and The Living End aim to continue their winning streak as they work on the bands’ much anticipated sixth studio album.
