Pablo Serrano was born in Buenos Aires, Argentina but has always lived in Madrid. He has been playing since he was 12 years old.
He started playing professionally with plenty projects most of them very succesful and notorious. He is a hard to classify drummer, not the typical stereotype musician with a very particular point of view. He stands out by a restless personality, being perseverant in the search of a non conventional result, values which make of Pablo Serrano an essential and worthy musician. He has got a lively character giving proof of it by traveling all around to play with the most interesting bands and Hispanic musicians like:
The iconic flamenco guitarist Raimundo Amador, the legendary Argentinian Fito Páez, the politically committed Maná and the talented Quique González. Having also played on international tours with artists like: the powerful Victoria Abril, the classic rock & roller Ariel Rot, the up and comming Yadam and the charismatic Russian Red.
Due to his eagerness in search of new ways of expression he also likes to get involved in other projects with a more artistic or experimental nature.
He is actually taking part in his own two bands The Cabriolets and Lacara, giving sense and contributing with his creativity and experience. Investing to the bands all of his knowledge.
He is also active on his contribution to clinics for Zildjian and DW, an additional work that motivates him a lot.
