Dutch Drummer and Percussionist Beatrix van den Bovenkamp is a state-approved Drumteacher. She is a composer, author and held the world record in duration drumming for 27 hours and 3 seconds in 2002.
She teaches many different styles at her Drumschool „BEAT-Drumstudio“ in Bayreuth, Germany, which she founded in 1994.
She teaches Latin Jazz and a wide range of other popular music styles at the University in Bamberg, Germany. She is a popular, well liked educator and has participated and tought at several international drummer meetings. Over the years she’s met Adam Nussbaum, Tal Bergmann, Ed Soph, Steve Haughton, Changuito and Guy Remonko during her travels. From Guy Remonko she has received private lessons at the University of Athens, Ohio, USA.
