Luxun was born in Jiangsu, 1971.
He studied Chinese Bamboo Flute and Drumset at the Nanjing Normal University and later went on to learn percussion with Prof. Liu at the Central Conservatory of Music.
In 1995 Luxun joined the ZiYue Band.
In 2000 he founded the Drum teaching room in Beijing and continues to teach, along with recording and performing.
