Hailing from Los Angeles, Street Drum Corps, Bobby Alt, Adam Alt and Frank Zummo, have been called "Soo good" by the New York Post, declared "A rapturous band of misfit drummers" by the Los Angeles Weekly and were featured in Alternative Press Magazine’s “Most Anticipated Albums of 2011” issue. The band is releasing a double album this year on DGC/Interscope. One is an all percussion record titled Big Noise, which was produced by SDC and Jamie Rise and recorded in Los Angeles at Dave Grohl’s Studio 606 and boasts tracks with guest drumming luminaries like Tommy Lee (Motley Crue), Matt Sorum (Velvet Revolver), Shannon Leto (30 Seconds To Mars), and Adrian Young (No Doubt). The other record, which is "Untitled" at the moment, was produced by Howard Benson (My Chemical Romance, All American Rejects) boasts an eclectic mix of the band’s trademark drumming on found objects and fully realized rock/pop songs with Bobby Alt on vocals.
Street Drum Corps were the main support act for 30 Seconds To Mars 2010 World Tour.
The band also just finished a successful sold out residency at The Roxy Theatre Hollywood.
Street Drum Corps has performed on American Idol, Conan O'Brien Show, Taurus World Stunt Awards, MTV, US Open Of Surfing, Naras Grammy Event, Projekt Revolution, Vans Warped Tour, Taste of Chaos Tour, and played with Linkin Park, 30 Seconds To Mars, Adrian Young of No Doubt, The Used, Tommy Lee & Motley Crue, Chris Cornell, Hoobastank and Matisyahu, among others.
