Winner of Norwell High School's Zildjian Scholarship Visits Zildjian

What instrument do you play?

Jason Connoly, winner of the Norwell High School Musician Scholarship visited the Zildjian Factory for a tour and to pick up his award. While here, Jason answered a few questions for us:

What instruments do you play?

Percussion, mostly snare drum and mallet percussion (i.e. xylophone and vibes), also played some timpani.

Where are you going to college?

University of Maryland at College Park.


Aerospace Engineering.

Musical Influence?

My uncle. He was the one who first introduced me to drums and if it weren't for him, I wouldn't be where I am in my musical career today.
