Zildjian on Tour visited Munich, German on Thursday, October 15 at the Hochschule für Musik und Theater München. Their playing ground is a former nuclear reactor bunker that had been used for scientific use up until two years ago. The room had great acoustics (and great shivers...) as you can imagine! The event was hosted by Professor Peter Sadlo and his really helpful students and the team with Dieter Gfall and Anders Åstrand from Zildjian, Ron Deckers, Jeroen Breider from Pearl Europe.
A really unique selection of Zildjian's Finest cymbals and Pearl's outstanding snare drums were on display and product information was given while all were enjoying themselves testing all the instruments. The day ended with a seminar by the artist in residence, Neil Percy, from London Symphony Orcheastra and Royal Academy in London.
After the day of great learning, we took off to Stuttgart where the Zildjian and Pearl teams were hosted by Marta and Klaus from Hoschule für Musik und Gestaltung the followign day.
Next destination for "Zildjian's Finest" will be Paris: come and visit the Paris PAS festival Perkumania November 28-29!
