Zildjian Welcomes Conor Egan (The Coronas) to Our Family of World-Wide Artists

Welcome to the Family

Conor EganZildjian is delighted to welcome Conor Egan, drummer from top Irish band, The Coronas, to our family of world-wide Artists.

The Coronas are one of Ireland's biggest indie-rock-pop bands; formed in 2005 they have to-date released two albums, the first in 2007, Heroes or Ghosts reached platinum status and their second Tony was an ex-con was released in September this year and reached number 3 in the Irish charts.

The end of November sees Ireland's first Irish only Video Music Awards where they have been nominated in two categories 'Best Styled Video' and 'Video of the Year' for their music video "Listen Dear" - directed by Simon Eustace.

Conor and the band are currently on a promotional tour of Asia with a couple of dates in Singapore remaining. Following their sold out Dublin Olympia show on 11 December 2009, they have announced three Academy shows in Ireland in January 2010 to cope with the huge demand for tickets from their fans.
