It was all aboard the Ebbelwei Express at this year's Frankfurt Musikmesse for the Zildjian Company and their Artists at the show.
Joining the famous tram ride though the city of Frankfurt, taking in the sites whilst drinking the local apple-wine (similar to cider), were local Artists, Jorg Baier, Torsten Bugiel, Paul Dax, Stephan Emig, Nicky Gebherd, Carola Grey, Werner Groisz, Sascha Kaisler, Sven Kienesberger, Daniel Messina, Jan Rohlfing, Tyronne Silva, Bodo Stricker, Jan Trojanowski, Juergen Zoeller and from the UK Pete Lockett all accompanied by the Zildjian team including Craigie Zildjian and on hand to report on the fun, Manuela, the new Editor of German magazine Drumheads.
The Tram, decked out in Zildjian banners and party balloons, stopped en-route for a traditional German dinner washed down by more apple-wine at a pub famous for brewing its own apple-wine...cheers!! Or, as the locals say "de hibb un de hobb un de schobbe in de kopp," it flows well after a few jugs!!
Back at the Zildjian booth it was business as usual as many Artists stopped by to check out the latest New For '10 products including international Artists Ranjit Barrot (India), Alain Gozzo (France), Maxime Lenssens (Belgium) and Liam Bradley and Noel Eccles from Ireland.
