Dierks Bentley and his band, including Steve Misamore on drums, didn't let a power outage at Jimmy Kimmel Live! stop him from performing last night. As luck would have it, Bentley was scheduled to play his current single "Up On The Ridge" off his new bluegrass-influenced release by the same name. In a moment's notice and in the true spirit of bluegrass music, Bentley and his band improvised for a totally unplugged performance as Kimmel recorded the show on his laptop computer's webcam. Following the performance Kimmel commented to Bentley, "Man, 99% of the bands we have on our show would have never been able to pull that off musically...that was incredible."
The show, which also included guests Seth Rogen and John Henson, aired last night (6/22) on ABC.
