The NME Tour 2011 recently rolled into Brighton, UK a few days before the grand finale at Brixton Academy.
The bands, Crystal Castles, Everything Everything and The Vaccines (all of which are Zildjian Artists) each had amazingly unique, full of energy performances. Zildjian caught up with the Artists backstage, Chris Chartrand (Crystal Castles), Pete Robertson (The Vaccines) and Michael Spearman (Everything Everything).
Here, Michael Spearman of Everything Everything talks about his NME Tour experience and what's next for the band:
"We've just finished the NME Awards Tour alongside The Vaccines, Magnetic Man and Crystal Castles. From start to finish it was a great tour and really fun to get to know the other bands. We played 13 shows and every one was fantastic, I particularly loved Manchester, Leeds, Norwich, Birmingham, and London - great crowds!
My set-up for the Tour included:
Left to right:
14" K Hi-Hats
19" K Dark Crash Thin
20" K Custom Dark Ride
18" K Custom Dark Crash
Soon we'll be going to Europe on our own headline tour for 12 shows, which we're very much looking forward to. After that we're excited to spend some time writing new material before going to Japan at the end of April."
