Julia Morgan is the 2011 recipient of the Avedis Zildjian Percussion Scholarship at the University of Massachusetts Amherst. Zildjian congratulates Julia on this award. She is currently a senior who came to UMASS because of the marching percussion program. She has progressed to become the section leader for the cymbal line this past Fall and did an amazing job. Her drive, approach, and knowledge served as a springboard for the school to have one of the best cymbal sections ever.
