And without further ado, the final addition to the 2011 Rarities Cymbal Program is...
22" K Constantinople Renaissance Ride

The newest addition to the 2011 Rarities Program is inspired by Zildjian Artist, Adam Nussbaum. Borrowing from aspects of various Zildjian cymbals, the 22" K Constantinople Renaissance Ride has 3 rows of over hammering, cluster hammering marks like those found on the K Symphonic Orchestral series, and are medium thin in weight. Watch the video above to hear the cymbals and what Adam Nussbaum loves about them. Click the sounds below to hear even more:

These latest additions to the
Zildjian K Custom Special Dry line really accentuate the dryness factor they offer. They have a fully lathed bottom only with scoring lathing on the top. Featuring 2 types of hammering - "K hammering," plus bigger hammering marks to acheive the desired sound, these are so dry they'll leave you thirsty! Hear them below and in the video above:
16" Custom Special Dry Crash
17" Custom Special Dry Crash

19" Custom Special Dry Crash Ride
K Dark Thin 19" Crash Ride, 22" Ride, 14" HiHats:

The new additions to the Zildjian K Dark Thin line offer the quintessential vintage K sound. With the thin weight on both the Crash Ride and the Ride, and a paper thin top / thin bottom on the hihats, the cymbals are buffed to a brilliant finish to add a little more cut to the sound. They'll be perfect for a trio setting allowing you to dig into the cymbals without overpowering the rest of the band. Hear them below and in the video above:
19" K Dark Thin Crash Ride
22" K Dark Thin Ride
14" K Dark Thin HiHats
24" ZHT Ride
(Click the photo above to watch video of Paul Francis introducing the Rarities Cymbals)
The
24" ZHT Ride has massive projection and sustain due to its large size. With a medium heavy weight, the cymbal's bell has a strong ping sound and also delivers an even wash. And of course, made by Zildjian's formidable ZHT 88/12 Alloy, you're sure going to love this one!
Dave Grohl and
Taylor Hawkins already love theirs. Listen to the
24" ZHT Ride sound files below and see it played by Zildjian's
Paul Francis in the video above.
10" A CUSTOM EFX
(Click the photo above to watch video of Paul Francis introducing the Rarities Cymbals)
The
10" A Custom EFX is perfect for stacking or mounting it solo as a splash cymbal. As you can hear in the video, or in the sound files below, the cymbal also has a great trashy sound that will accent your setup. It also will go great with the other
A Custom EFX cymbals on your kit.
