These hi hats are heavy and can take a beating but they have a very "changy" open hi hat noise. not very good it you like to play your hi hats "slushy" or open sounding, i would recommend a 14" a custom Master sound hi hat...

Awesome hi hats, very versatile. I've tried a lot of different hi hats but these are the best.
