Like all the cymbals in the Hybrid line, this one is absolutely amazing. I've been recorded by two different studio setups and both picked up the ping great. Towards the center of the cymbal yields a brighter more articulate ping and the edge is a little washier. It is also very crashable which adds to the versatility of it. I've been using it for years and it's still in perfect shape and sounds great.
