I have been using this Hi Hat for about 3 years. I play in a cover band and we have to play everything from soft jazz to rock tunes. I am very picky with my cymbals, and when I got the K Mastersound I was looking for the perfect Hi Hat regardless of the price. I just wanted a good all around Hi Hat. Obviously, I got this one. It is great. I has a lot of power that cuts through any type of music and also works well in lower volume situations. I wouldn`t recomandit for jazz , but it works for just about all the other types of music as a verry good all around HI Hat.
