Welcome to Zildjian Sound Lab Videos. In this installment we talk about and play the 22" Z3 Medium-Heavy Ride with Paul Francis. Paul talks about the key features of the Z3 product line. Here is a transcript of the video: Welcome to the Zildjian Sound Lab Video. Today we are going to talk about the 22" Z3 Medium-Heavy Ride. And like the other Z3s this is the third generation of the Z series. We went from Z to Z Custom now we are on the Z3 or if your from Europe they call them "Zed 3" which is always nice. This is a brilliant finish cymbal, it's heavily hammered and we changed the way we hammered it so this cymbal has a little more give. It's lathed like an A and has this really great brilliant finish. The great thing about the Z3 series is that they don't play like very heavy cymbals although they are designed to project very loud for rock or hard rock music.

Paul talks about the unique bottom and finish that give this cymbal a great sound. Here is a transcript of the video: Welcome to the Zildjian Sound Lab Video today we are going to be talking about our 14" A Custom ReZo HiHats. Now the ReZo HiHats came out in 2009 and like the ReZo Crashes, they have this extra large bell and it gives this a louder and fuller sound in a set of HiHats. This set of HiHats is a very solid clean chick and one of the nice design attributes about this, it has 6 half moon cut-outs that helps the air escape a little bit for really good foot chicking accents.
