Rashid Williams comes from a long line of musical talent, singers and musicians. He is the son of Pastors and Musical Director at his local church. Rashid began playing the drums at the age of three and professionally for churches and choirs at the age of seven.

Some of the artists Rashid has toured with are Eric Roberson, Goapele, N.E.R.D., Jill Scott, Diddy Dirty Money, JCole, Alicia Keys, and John Legend. Rashid is also listed among Cirque du Soleil's roster of producers and drummers.
