MARKETING

  • Multimedia Content Designer
    The Avedis Zildjian Company is looking for a Multimedia Content Designer to join our office in Norwell, MA. This is a unique opportunity to work in a fast-paced, exciting consumer focused business for one of the most iconic brands in Music. We are seeking a talented and energetic individual with a relentless pursuit to create engaging experiences targeting drummers and young musicians. This position has the rare opportunity to lead the storytelling for a market leading, global brand with a passionate legion of customers and fans.

    Reporting to the Director of Brand Activation, you will join our in-house Global Marketing team where you will help lead the development and execution of multi-channel and multi-platform creative concepts, branding, design and messaging strategies for the Zildjian/Vic Firth brands and product portfolios across all consumer touch points, from advertising and social medial to retail, experiential and new channels/formats.

    This position requires a blend of excellent graphic design skills and photo and video production skills with the ability to develop entertaining and/or informative storytelling concepts. He/she will need to apply artistic talents, technical skills, and communication and project management abilities while working collaboratively across a variety of teams and projects, both internally and externally.

    Essential Functions:

    - Specific areas for creative design and development are: print advertising, social media content, social media and search engine advertising, website design and content, email marketing, performance and product videos, artist and product photography, catalogs, sell sheets, packaging and retail graphics.
    - Ability to interpret a creative brief, present a creative POV and deliver an overall communication strategy to be executed across channels
    - Works closely with the Social Media Manager on the creative development and execution of the company’s social media marketing strategy.
    - Leads various photo and video productions internally and externally
    - Maintains an archive and file sharing of creative job files, digital assets, and product and artist photography
    - Photography - Product & Artist photos – ability to work alone, as a team or with hired resources to capture, select and post-produce unique photography to be used across channels
    - Videos – film, edit, compose and post original product, brand and artist related content across channels.
    - Work collaboratively with internal and external partners such as Sales, Product Management, International Distributors, Retailers, Vendors and Senior Management
    - Ability to travel to concert/music venues, studios or external locations to capture original content
    - Passionate about music, as an avid drummer, musician or music fan
    - Ability to work within tight timelines on multiple project simultaneously
    - Ability to work individually on projects and collaboratively in a team environment

    Education & Experience

    - 5+ years’ experience in Print/Digital Design or Photo/Video Production with a Bachelor’s Degree.

    Technical Skills - Mastery of Adobe Creative Suite including Photoshop, InDesign, and Illustrator. Experience with video editing tools, Final Cut Pro preferred. Strong print and digital design skills as evidence by a portfolio of past & present projects.

  • Video Production/Content Specialist
    The Avedis Zildjian Company is looking for a Video Production/Content Specialist to join our office in Norwell, MA.     In this position, you will join our in-house Global Marketing team where you will be part of the development and execution of multi-channel and multi-platform creative concepts, video production and messaging strategies for the Zildjian/Vic Firth brands and product portfolios. Your content will touch all consumer touch points, from advertising and social medial to retail, web, experiential and new channels/formats.

He/she will need to apply artistic talents, technical skills, and communication and project management abilities while working collaboratively across a variety of teams and projects, both internally and externally.

    Essential Functions:

    - Executes video/content projects for use across all marketing channels with a strong emphasis on social media and online channels, adhering to the Zildjian brand guidelines at all times.
    - Works within a collaborative team to execute brand and product stories for Zildjian and Vic Firth.
    - Captures compelling drumming and cymbal playing content on locations such as concert venues, music studios, sound stages or internally within our offices or factory.
    - Produce short form and long form content including traditional advertising, promotional videos, artist content, drum performances and other support materials for global use in, ensuring a consistent execution of the Company’s global brand guidelines.
    - Executes video and assists on some digital and social media campaigns based on Zildjian brand parameters.
    - Works with the Multimedia Design Manager and Director of Brand Activation on all campaigns featuring new and existing products and services.
    - Performs editing and production functions for existing or supplied creative/footage including but not limited to resizing, revising, or refreshing content.
    - Maintains an archive of creative job files, digital assets, and product and artist photography.
    - Performs department administrative duties including production quotes, organization/logging of equipment and management of internal studio and filming locations.

    Education & Experience

    - 2-4 years’ experience in video production, video editing, photography and content creation. Some experience with the Adobe Creative Suite. Bachelor’s Degree in Film/Multimedia

    Technical Skills

    - Strong filming and lighting skills as evidenced by a portfolio of past projects. Mastery of video editing/filming, Final Cut Pro preferred. Some experience with Adobe Creative Suite, including Photoshop, Illustrator, and InDesign preferred. Some experience with Adobe After Effects and photography a plus

MANUFACTURING

  • Rolling Mill Assistant
    We need an individual to fill a 2nd shift position. The hours are Tuesday through Friday - 10 hours (3PM -1AM). Perform Rolling Mill duties including loading castings, pick red-hot castings off of tray with short rake, separate and pass over to rolling mill."

    The ideal candidate will have:
    - High School Diploma or Equivalent Experience in an industrial, production manufacturing environment.
    - Must be a team player, good troubleshooting and problem solving skills.
    - Cross training capability and work in a fast paced environment.
    - Dependable and proven record of safety.
    - Able to handle a broad range of tasks.
    - Have a commitment to quality.
  • Sheet Metal 1
    We need an individual to fill a 2nd shift position. The hours are Tuesday through Friday - 10 hours (3PM -1AM). Perform Sheet Metal duties including how to lathe all product with the use of a lathe cutting tool, set-up and make adjustments for machine, know and perform the proper care of chisel, utilize proper size die for operation, and make set-up adjustments using miscellaneous tools.

    The ideal candidate will have:
    - High School Diploma or Equivalent Experience in an industrial, production manufacturing environment
    - Must be a team player, good troubleshooting and problem solving skills.
    - Cross training capability and work in a fast paced environment.
    - Dependable and proven record of safety.
    - Able to handle a broad range of tasks.
    - Have a commitment to quality.
