His YouTube channel, with over 90 million views, held the record among Italian independent music channels for a long time. After winning the Drummer of Tomorrow contest, and after graduating from MI in Los Angeles, he performed in prestigious international events, sharing the stage with drumming icons. In 2011 he released the solo album Classical Drumming featuring a 36-piece symphonic orchestra. A successful experiment, which took #1 on Amazon MP3 in many countries. Andrea is also very active as session artist, completing a 2-year tour with the world renowned Cirque du Soleil as a featured drummer in their show KOOZA.

I try to listen to a wide variety of music always with a different approach: at times I focus on one instrument only, other times I appreciate (or not) the whole production, the quality of recording, the effects choice, etc.

Enjoy your instrument at 360. Listen, watch, ask questions, try different things and don't be afraid to explore different genres and worlds. It won't always be a walk in the park but in the end it will have been worth it.

FAVORITE ZILDJIAN CYMBAL/COMBO
21" A Sweet Ride Brilliant. It's the all-around cymbal for me. Crashy at the right point, not so pingy and with a great, cutting bell sound.
