"Zebbie's Dance" featuring the Ohio State University Percussion Ensemble

PERFORMANCE SPOTLIGHT
"Zebbie's Dance" by Anders Åstrand
Featuring Anders Åstrand & Joseph Krygier
and the Ohio State University Percussion Ensemble
Zebbie's Dance was written for Keith Aleo and the Avedis Zildjian Company as a way to introduce students to the many sound colors and playing techniques available with concert hand cymbals. The rhythmic percussion groove combined with improvised cadenzas provide an entertaining piece that will be sure to delight performers and audience members alike. We hope that you'll consider downloading the ensemble and trying it out with your own students!
