Konstantyn Napolov | Zildjian Concert Orchestral Artist

Konstantyn won the 2016 Prins Bernhard Cultuurfonds prize, the 2016 principal position at "The World Percussion Group", USA/Mexico. In 2015, he was accepted to the “Chosen Vale” academy, awarded the Collin Curie scholarship, and won two first prizes at the International Music competition in Belgrade Serbia. In 2014, he was the principal timpanist at the Mannheimer Philharmoniker, Germany, a Finalist of the Dutch Classical Talent, and passed through 3 rounds at the ARD International Music Competition in München. In 2013, he earned the first prize of the Grachtenfestival Concours 2013 of Royal Concertgebouw Amsterdam. Working on his lifelong project The Dutch Golden Collection together with composers as David Lang, Moritz Eggert, Sofia Gubaidulina, Kaija Saariaho, Louis Andriessen and many more.
