One of my favorite rides

"Super nice stick definition, warm tone, and the bell is nice and cutting. Perfect for heavier music. Not to mention the k hammering and brilliant finish make it look amazing. Would buy again and again."

Still the best ride cymbal for me after many years

"Got one of these when they first came out and I still haven't found a Ride that I like more. Fantastic dark wash, very crash-able, great stick definition and a bell you can hear in the next town. Light players might not like this cymbal at all because you really gotta hit it to get it to open up.. Again, note that the wash is very dark and this isn't a cymbal that will fill the stage with white noise. Rather, it seems to blend in musically with just about anything. Thank you, Zildjian! (If you want to hear it in action, check out the "P*rno for Pyros" album - Stephen Perkins used one on it.)"

No, I would have bought a different cymbal.

"The cymbal arrived well packed, but was really tarnished. It looked as if it sat in stock for a long time. When you pay that much for a cymbal, you'd expect that a brilliant finished cymbal would look cleaner. It sounded a bit dull until I cleaned it, and sounded better, but not as good as I had hoped."
