Tobias Derer is is a real One-Man-Show: He is the Drummer, Videographer, Producer and Guitarist for his solo Youtube project UMC - and is one of the up and coming metal drummers in Germany. Not only do his university degrees in Classical music, Pop and Jazz show his versatility, his international touring experience with classical orchestras, big bands and bands like Cypecore, Beyond The Black and Megaherz also speaks for itself. At this point in time the instrumentalist has generated a lot of attention with UMC. The new album "90s in Metal“ covers the top 10 hit songs from the 90s era with blasting guitar riffs and tasteful drums. Songs like "What is Love" or "Captain Jack" have been metalized. With this, Tobias hit a nerve in the scene and the feedback has been awesome from press and fans.
