Lo!, LORD, Burial Pit, The Wvlf + various recording sessions and tour fill-ins

When I first heard AC/DC, Led Zeppelin, and Dire Straits as a kid, the next logical step was to pick up sticks and figure out how to do THAT on the drums.

These days, hearing a crushingly heavy track still brings a smile to my face and makes me want to stomp around the room and hear more, thats what its all about. Metal, punk, hardcore, blast beats, double kick, and everything in between, if the drums destroy and theres a wall of guitars and bass with a healthy amount of dynamics to keep things interesting, Im there!

  • WHAT INSPIRES YOU?

There are so many amazing drummers today, including a lot of largely unknown players, who are pushing drumming way beyond what I ever thought possible. Seeing what’s possible inspires me to keep practicing and learning new techniques and tricks.

  • WORDS OF WISDOM FOR THE NEXT GENERATION OF DRUMMERS

Develop your own style and play for the song. You don’t need to be the fastest or have the newest or best gear. Put in the time working on the right things for you and be true to yourself.

  • FAVORITE ZILDJIAN CYMBAL/COMBO

I switched from 14” A to 15” K hi-hats and can’t believe I didn’t do it sooner. Also, I’ve always used A Custom crashes live and recording, but recently have used Ks in the studio which I really enjoy.
