Andrey Martynov (born 1980, in Moscow, Russia) is a Percussionist of the Tchaikovsky Symphony Orchestra (ex. Moscow Radio Symphony Orchestra). Andrey won his first orchestra position at the age of 19.
He graduated from The Moscow Tchaikovsky Conservatory Orchestra Faculty in 2004 and post graduated in 2007 as a contemporary music player.
After years in the Moscow Symphony Orchestra (since 2003) and the Moscow State Symphony Capella (since 2009) Andrey joined the Tchaikovsky Symphony Orchestra in 2014.
As a percussion expert Andrey collaborated with the State Glinka Museum of Music in Moscow and also with some percussion manufacturers in Russia, Belarus, Turkey and China. He held clinics in Moscow, Saint Petersburg, Kazan, Voronezh, Kaliningrad and other cities in Russia.
