From Ireland, Diarmuid is the drummer of The Murder Capital. At age 13, he began learning drums, attending lessons and playing in pop-punk bands throughout his school years.

Furthering his drumming journey he studied at BIMM Dublin and after graduating he moved to New York City to immerse himself in the jazz and indie scene of Brooklyn and Manhattan.

Returning home to Ireland he met his fellow band mates The Murder Capital. The Murder Capital have gone on to tour extensively throughout the UK, Europe and North America with the release of their critically acclaimed 2019 debut album When I Have Fears and their 2023 sophomore album Gigi's Recovery. Diarmuid has worked with Grammy award winning record producers Flood and John Congleton.

Diarmuid enjoys the immediacy of live performance and the collaborative nature of music, on and off the kit.
