I started my love of drums around 7 years old after a Funeral For A Friend gig, from there I was obsessed. Formed my first band at the age of 11 while in school and that became Cytota when I was in college. By 20 we had rebranded ourselves Shvpes and I had the opportunity to tour the world playing drums. Fast forward to now and I'm still as obsessed with drums as I was at 7 with Defects playing heavier, faster and more aggressive drum playing which really challenges me and keeps me on my toes

  • WHAT INSPIRES YOU?

    Drummers who can use the splashes, EFX and any other 'tinkles' in their drum fills. I love seeing what people can create by combining certain models and just having fun with it. It inspires me to do the same and go outside my comfort zone.
