I knew beyond a shadow of a doubt at age 9 that playing drums was what I wanted to do with the rest of my life after my first exhilarating rushes from playing. The feeling only deepened as the years difficult years passed in school and I thought to myself, "All I want to do is be a part of the continuum of musicians that make music that helps out kids like me", and I've been fortunate to be a small part of something that gave so much to me. Music is life!
