Since 2010, Allen has constantly been invited to perform overseas in countries and territories such as mainland Chinas administrative region of Macau, Beijing, Guangzhou, Hangzhou, Shandong, Shanghai, as well as Dubai, Malaysia and Singapore.
Chen joined Skyline Jazz Band in 2012, and released his debut album, ""City Glide"", in June 2014. Since the album launched, Skyline has received wide acclaim from home and abroad for its diverse music elements and mature urban jazz style. In addition to being nominated for the Best New Artist at the 5th Golden Indie Music Awards in 2014, the band was among the world's top 12 bands at the 3rd Cotai Jazz and Blues Festival in Macau in the same year and was then invited to perform live at the 2015 Java Jazz Festival, the world's biggest jazz music festival. Following its debut success, Skyline launched its second studio album, ""City Colors"", in 2016 and toured throughout Asia in Japan, China, Hong Kong and Taiwan in first-class jazz clubs (4 countries, 12 cities, 20 concerts). Extending the concept of ""silhouette of the city"", Skyline seeks to inject greater musical richness and cultural depth into the production to create some truly unique fusion jazz tunes.
In 2018, Chen was invited to Taiwan's most famous music restaurant ""EZ5 Live House"" as bandleader. From 2014 to 2019, he was endorser of the SAKAE drums (JAPAN). Skyline Jazz Band 's album, Symphojazz, won the live performance album of the 18th American Independent Music Awards.
