Zildjian ALCHEM-E Headphone App Connectivity Support

If your iPhone or iPad won’t pair with the Zildjian app, update to iOS 26.1 or later. 

  • If you’re using an iPhone 17, iPhone Air, or any iPhone or iPad equipped with Apple’s N1 chip, you’ll need to update to iOS version 26.1 to enable pairing with the Zildjian mobile app. 

Why You Need iOS 26.1 

In 2025, Apple introduced its proprietary N1 chip, which changed the way Bluetooth devices communicate with iOS. The original iOS shipped on these new devices had compatibility issues with a range of Bluetooth-enabled devices, including the Zildjian ALCHEM-E Headphones. Once updated, your headphones should pair normally. If you still have trouble, contact us. 

How to Update Your iOS 

Follow the instructions from Apple for updating your iOS.  

  • Open Settings
  • Tap General
  • Tap Software Update
  • Tap Download and Install (if available)
