Sweet Ride

"Zildjian calls it Sweet Ride. I believe they hit a home run on it. I’m by no means that I am a cymbal expert. But I know how I want it, and how they should sound. Just with a single hit, I get tones that are of crisp, warm and shimmering to my ear. I Absolutely love the Brilliant finish version, which matches my A Custom’s perfectly. Also love the lathe process which produces the Sweet Ride Sound. Along with the A Customs, it creates a great visual contrast. A few more pictures shows that only Zildjian adorns this guys Kit!"

Strong All-Rounder

"I've had one of these for years now and I cannot think of a single time where it has ever let me down. The stick sound is strong but not pingy, making it super versatile and usable for many situations, but it can be a bit too washy in higher volume situations both on stage and on record. Talking about being loud, both the bell and the crash sounds are SO strong on this cymbal. The bell sound isn't that integrated (meaning hit the bell and the rest of the cymbal activates) which is killer for latin and rock and whilst allowing for a more controllable instrument. The crash is top tier; if you disagree then fight Craig 'Reynlord' Reynolds who uses a traditional finish one exclusively as a crash. He knows whats up and I wouldn't wanna fight him... Oh and the brilliant finish matches up perfectly with A Customs and Oriental Chinas which is really satisfying!"
