"In the past I have bought thicker sticks to get the additional weight that gives them more of their own momentum. These laminated sticks have the weight without the thickness. I think that's great. One thing to get used to - they are so smooth they are almost slippery. But that can be sanded, for grip."

"These are the GREATEST 5B's I've ever held!!! I tend to strong-arm everything when I play, and they feel/are completely indestructible. The heaviness is noticeable and felt immediately; enough to dig in with and to have finesse. When I went back to my previous 5B's they felt much lighter. I'm ordering 3 more right now to have 6 pair.
