Very versatile ride that crashes well too.

"This is the ride cymbal I use the most these days. I have a mid-50's 22" ride that Ottaviano over-hammered for me that was my first cymbal I got in the 70's. I also have an 80's A ping ride I used when I played prog rock. Then a 20" mid-60's cymbal I repaired a crack on that is somewhere between a crash and a ride (and not perfect at either), but dark and evil. I think that's all the rides today... This cymbal has good stick, controlled wash and a decent crash when you shank it. The "crash" will compliment a ride pattern without overpowering it (unless you overpower the cymbal). The 22" version I had wasn't as good at this- the 20 seems to be the one to get."
