The sandblasted finish may show fingerprints after handling. If fingerprints are left in place, a natural oxidation will develop. If desired, these cymbals can be cleaned with a clean, dry cloth. Do not clean your L80s using cymbal cleaner or any other type of cleaning product as this may alter the finish in unintended ways.

A quiet set up gave my drumming a new life

"I really love playing these low volume cymbals. I moved into a home a long time ago with neighbours attached on both sides and the drum kit was put away. I’ve had electric kits and drum pads which I rarely played, but finally I saved a few pounds and tried the L80’s from Zildjian and I am finally enjoying practicing and playing drums again at home. I paired these with some mesh drumheads so I can let it rip without upsetting the neighbours. Honestly they feel and respond just like my regular cymbals and the sound is surprisingly good - finally enjoyment from a ‘quiet’ practice session or play along with my favourite tracks. It’s the enjoyment factor that has made all the difference to my drumming. Who knows, maybe someday they will make a darker thinner sounding Low Volume cymbal that resembles my 20-23 year old zildjian K regular setup - but these are a very fun second that have allowed me to get back to doing the thing I love, drumming."
