Heavy Insulation And Encapsulating Sound

"I am NOT an audiophile. I just like really specific kinds of sounds, and am incredibly picky when it comes to the types of headphones I purchase. I have a pair of Sony MDR-XB650BT (Left in the photo) and they are REALLY good. They obviously look a little worse for wear, but regardless of the exterior, these things still maintain their battery life and outperform a lot of different headphones I've tried. I am sick of replacing them. The only reason I kept buying them was because, I didn't do that to the frame. Sony has a track record, it seems, of making excellent headphones with cheap, flimsy frames. This is my 3rd pair, just because of the frame. Now onto the Zildjian. These better not end up the same way. These are too expensive not to be perfect. I've only had about an hour with them so far, and they do seem, immediately perfect. They sound incredibly similar to the Sonys though, just INCREDIBLY insulated. The sound surrounds me more; I feel encapsulated. The Sonys do a good job, but when I put these on they cut almost all ambient noise out without ANC. I don't think I even like the ANC too much, it seems to distort the audio in a way I'm not a fan of. I'd probably use it if I was in a louder environment. I am disappointed that I need the app to be running in the background for any EQ effects to be applied, but eh, I guess this is the dream. Overall, I wanted good headphones that weren't ugly. I think these will fit my needs perfectly. Pros - Style Battery Life/Charge Time (Approx. 2hrs) Comfortable (for me) Exquisite Sound, Very Full Exists- The app. I don't like extra apps just cluttering my phone, but I feel like these headphones are worth it. Con- For me these are comfortable, but I see how the grip of these headphones could cause strain/headaches. It's fairly tight."

High Quality and Durable.

"The sound and fit are perfect and very impressed by the quality across the board. I would really like to point out the durability, best possible storage case. My son accidentally left his set on the roof of his car and they managed to slide off into the on ramp to the highway. It was sitting in one of the main tire paths in the road and constantly run over by vehicles until we could attempt circling back and rescue them. To our surprise and amazement, they were completely unharmed and not a scratch. Tested them and they were still good as new. As for the rubber case we just buffed out the scuff marks all over it and even the case was in near perfect shape, except of one faint scratch that you have to actually look for it up close and find it. We highly recommend this product especially for someone who is rough with gear."

"If you’re a serious audiophile, you want the best in sound quality. Look no further. These headphones have the best sound I have ever experienced. Combined with the app, you get sound tailored for your ears. I’m not talking about a simple equalizer the app will step you through having each ear tuned to the headphones. No more missed notes. Noise cancellation is great with two levels. Volume adjustment is easy with a side knob that doubles as a phone controller or music controller. The sound quality has to be heard to believe. Simply put it’s superb."

"Every thing about this product from the box, the case to the headphones themselves are high quality. They are very comfortable and the sound is amazing. When you download the app, you can tailor the sound to your own ears. They also have a nice modern look to them and they come in 3 color choices and can be connected with an audio cable or via bluetooth.
