Works Great for Rock and Jazz
"I bought these initially because I like the rubber dip on the handles. They work well for almost all kinds of music. They seem to be balanced quite well and they last a long time. I've included a photo of what they look like after several years of use. I get a lot of mileage out of mine. I've never broken a pair not that I tend to break sticks anyway. I've played rock gigs, Church gigs etc. with these. They are loud enough for most venues without being too loud. I like the wood tip especially for the cymbal sound which tends to be a bit darker than plastic tips. Overall they work very well for my needs. The Gold embossing tends to come off after a while but I don't really care about that anyway. It's just cosmetic"
