  • WHAT INSPIRES YOU?

Family. I grew up drumming on my Dad's knee in church with my Mom on bass and my grandfather on the Steel guitar. They were my original music teachers and the reason music was a foundational part of my youth. Today, my wife and daughter are the reason I keep going. Everything I do is to make them proud and to support our family. Without my family's support, I truly don't know where I would be.

  • WORDS OF WISDOM FOR THE NEXT GENERATION OF DRUMMERS

Never stop learning. Never stop growing. You're never as good as you could be. There's always more to learn. Stretch your boundaries. Learn the tech side of your rig. Dig into another instrument on stage so you can better understand the players around you. Maybe dip your toe into songwriting. All of these things will make you as versatile as possible and that is never a bad thing.

  • FAVORITE ZILDJIAN CYMBAL/COMBO

Tough to pick just one. For me, the Constantinople's are really special cymbals. There's nothing else like them anywhere. When I'm playing them, I feel like I naturally think through things a bit differently. The K customs are equally as loved for me. The versatility I find with them elevates my playing. I also feel like I can rough them up a little more and that's always fun :)
