Anthony Almonte

Anthony Almonte, a singer and percussionist, was born June of 1992 in Bronx, New York. His music career began at the early age of six, performing regularly shortly after, at the age of 10. Anthony studied under mentors Angel Rodriguez, Little Johnny Rivero, and Charlie Lagond. Anthony is currently on tour with Bruce Springsteen and the E Street Band. He also appeared with Springsteen as a member of The Nightshift, a band that backed Bruces œOnly The Strong Survive music video and television premieres. Anthony officially joined Steven Van Zandt & The Disciples of Soul as their percussionist in 2017, for their Soulfire Tour. He then recorded and toured their follow-up album, œSummer Of Sorcery. In late 2017, Anthony also joined what would later become the Carlos Henriquez Nonet. Prior to that, Anthony toured with Kid Creole & The Coconuts. Anthony also appeared on Netflixs holiday blockbuster The Christmas Chronicles. A two-time Grammy Award nominee, Anthony has also worked with Paul McCartney, Wynton Marsalis, Jazz At Lincoln Center Orchestra, Karol G, Eddie Palmieri, Apples original series Central Park, Edwin Bonilla, Spanish Harlem Orchestra, and many more. In 2016, Anthony graduated with a Masters degree of Business Administration in Finance, with an advanced certificate in Sports & Entertainment Business, from Iona Universitys Hagan School of Business.
