Anthony 'Sweetstix' Lewis, born and raised in the north of London has been playing since the age of 5 years old. Anthony has worked in a variety of styles ranging from Pop, Jazz, Fusion, Rock, Reggae and Gospel. His most recent works has been on the drum throne for Grammy Award winning artist Jess Glynne for the past 5 years, travelling and performing in places such as Asia, Europe, Middle East, Australia, US whilst recently opening up for the Spice Girls on their Reunion Tour. Anthony has been on the road and studio with Jess Glynne and can hear his work on her number 1 hit records Hold My Hand and Ill Be There.
Anthony has worked with countless amounts of artists in the studio and live environments with artists such as Selah Sue with her 3 times platinum record Selah Sue, Rnb Superstar Taio Cruz and roots reggae artist Patrice Bart Williams to name a few. Anthony started out playing drums in church but very quickly found a love for jazz fusion in his early teens watching drummers such as Dennis Chambers, Omar Hakim and Vinnie Colauita. Moving on to then all the hottest music bars in London, Anthony became the house band drummer fairly quickly at all of them allowing him to develop his musicality and sense of playing different styles with an era of different types of musicians.
