I started playing jazz at around age 7, and I was listening to it even before that. I love continuing the tradition of jazz drumming and I'm dedicated to the pursuit of pushing it further into the future. From basements and dive bars to theaters and concert halls I love bringing jazz to the world.

I love seeing all of the innovations drummers are creating in my time. With the advent of social media, I love watching drummers from all over the world express new ideas that wouldn't have been possible to see in the past.
