Boston Conservatory at Berklee and Meehan/ Perkins Duo

Doug Perkins has been hailed as a œpercussion virtuoso by the New York Times and founded the percussion quartet So Percussion and the Meehan/ Perkins Duo. He premiered over 100 pieces works by David Lang, Steve Reich, Paul Lansky, John Luther Adams, Christian Wolff, Tristan Perich and more. Doug plays all over at places from Lincoln Center, Carnegie Hall, the Barbican Center to Central Park Lake, the Park Avenue Armory to Lands End in San Francisco and the top of the Italian Alps.

Doug is Associate Professor of Music at the Boston Conservatory at Berklee.
