Eric Shriver is a full-time percussion educator and designer from Southern California.
Currently, Eric is the Percussion Director at Sunny Hills HS & West HS, a member of the Percussion Staff at The Cavaliers Drum & Bugle Corps, and the Percussion Director for Gold Drum & Bugle Corps and Gold Indoor. Prior, he was the Percussion Caption Head for the Blue Stars Drum & Bugle Corps from 2013-2018, and Battery Arranger 2017-2018. He also was the Snare Tech for Bluecoats Drum & Bugle Corps from 2009-2012, the Battery Coordinator/Snare Tech for Pulse Percussion Ensemble from 2009-2012, and the Percussion Director at Rowland High School from 2007-2018.
Erics performance experience includes programs such as Bluecoats Drum and Bugle Corps, Pulse Percussion Ensemble, Pacific Crest Drum and Bugle Corps, RCC marching band, and Black Knights Indoor Drumline.
Eric graduated from Cal Poly Pomona University with a degree in Music Industry Studies (Business Emphasis).
Eric is proud to be a Vic Firth, Yamaha, Zildjian and Remo Educational Artist, a member on the SCPA Classification Committee, and previously a member of the WGI Percussion Advisory Board. He is also proud to be a Co-Owner of Front2Back Music, and the Creator/Owner of The Build-Up Method Percussion Educational Series.
Eric currently lives in Rancho Cucamonga, CA with his wife Amanda, daughter Charlotte, and their pets Sammy and Luna.
